For Readers
The user rating is intended to establish relationships between writers and readers, to motivate users to be active on the site, and to earn well-deserved rewards for reviews, comments, and their reading activity. In the future, user rating points will be used for additional features such as discounts on books and other perks. Read books, comment, leave reviews, purchase works, and reward authors to increase your user rating.
The user rating is determined based on the following:
- +1 for commenting on a blog
- +1-5 for likes on your comments (depends on user reputation)
- +2-10 for likes on your blog posts (depends on user reputation)
- +5 for commenting on a book
- +10 for each follower
- +15 and more for awards received (varies by award size)
- +20 for every hour of reading using the reader
- +25 for recommendations/reviews of read works
- +30 for reviews of read works
- +50 for purchasing a work
User rating can also decrease due to dislikes, deleted reviews or comments, adding to the ignore list, or being banned by site moderators. Upon registration, each user receives +100 to their rating. If the user rating falls below 100, you will lose the ability to comment on blogs, works, and other content. Be polite and respectful to other users!
